TREKS & TRIPS

Yorkshire

This trip is a favorite for sure. Our journey begins with a charming stop in York, exploring its medieval streets and iconic landmarks. Next, we head to the picturesque coastal town of Whitby, famous for its stunning cliffs and rich maritime history. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the North York Moors with a hike to Andy Goldsworthy's Hanging Stones installation, followed by a visit to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, where art is beautifully intertwined with the landscape.

Thames Path

This adventure started as a challenge to walk the 100 miles along the beautiful Thames Path from London to Oxford with my daughter.  We've broken the journey into manageable 10 to 12-mile segments, making it a delightful exploration of the scenic route. Each leg of the walk is punctuated by a well-deserved stop at a charming pub, where we can relax and recharge.

A scenic view from Mount Snowdon on a bright sunny day, Wales.jpg

Mount Snowdon

Well, I tackled this beast and it wasn't as magical as I thought it would be, but I guess that's the weather in Wales for you. That said, I've learned a lot and have some great ideas on where to stay and how to enjoy this beautiful part of the UK.

Seven Sisters

A fabulous day-trip from London, this hike is not for the faint-hearted, it's 11-13 miles (depending on your luck with tides).  But so worth it!

Box-Hill London

This is an area I know well, and it's just a stone's throw from London! This scenic area offers a variety of trails, ranging from 3 to 8 miles, perfect for all skill levels. Enjoy the thrill of conquering a good hill while immersing yourself in the beautiful surroundings.
